FLASH SALE! $50 off any lease. Ends December 20th. APPLY TODAY
Check-ins will be in the lobby starting at 9 am on the first day of your contract. Be sure to watch your email for information regarding how to prepay your rent so you don’t have to wait in the longer line on check-in day. If you can’t make it in time for check-ins and need to arrive after office hours, go straight to your assigned apartment. If you are locked out, call the emergency line, or leave the office a message through the emergency prompting and the on-call manager will let you in for the night. You can check in with us the next day that we are open!
Parking must be requested for each individual semester. We send out the parking reservation email usually a few months before check-in day, depending on the semester and demand. That reservation email is only sent to residents’ BYUI emails, so be checking that regularly. Visitor parking is clearly marked but is only honored during approved visiting hours. If you have overnight guests, please come to the leasing office during our hours so we can get you a temporary pass.
Our hours are not just from 9 to 5. We have a member of the team available 24/7 who are experienced in addressing your student’s needs no matter what time of day they need it. We understand the importance of maintenance needs and our goal is to complete submitted work orders within 24 hours of their submission (with comfort and life safety issues addressed immediately). We believe it is our role to provide timely, professional service to the people who call The Cove home.
After-hours emergencies, such as water leaks and lockouts, can happen and we want to be here to help. The after-hours, emergency maintenance, phone number can be located on the magnet on your fridge, as well as in the Welcome Packet emailed to you every semester. We do not advertise this phone number, to ensure the line stays open ONLY for current Cove students to help with such needs.
Did your student’s roommate not pay their share of rent again? At The Cove, you and your student are not responsible for anyone else, including roommates. There is no liability on your end to pay the rent of any other resident or roommate, which is a huge advantage over most apartments and rental properties. Student dynamics can change at anytime, and The Cove makes sure these dynamics never financially impact you or your student.
