Move-In Day FAQs

  1. How do I know what apartment I am in?

Check your BYUI email for the FINAL roommate assignment email we sent a few days ago. You can also check your Appfolio for your apartment assignment.

  1. Do I need to stop by the office for anything?

Yes, you will need to stop by to pick up your apartment key fob and your parking pass if applicable. You can do this after you start moving in if you would like.

  1. How do I access my apartment?

We have physical fobs! Be sure not to lose yours since you have to turn it in at the end of the semester 🙂

  1. Which bed space is mine?

Bed spaces are first come first serve! We do not assign them. Work out with your roommates who will be in which rooms and beds 🙂

  1. When is rent due?

TODAY! You must have your rent paid BEFORE moving in.

  1. What if I am unable to pay all the rent today?

You should have received several emails that included a link to request a payment plan. Please fill this out, and we will adjust your account.

  1. Where do I pick up my parking pass?

If you have a parking pass pre-paid for and reserved, you can see us in the office lobby to pick that up. If you did not reserve a parking pass, we are sold out.

  1. What if my apartment is messy when I move in?

Do not fear! We have cleaners on hand! With residents living here over the break, sometimes things aren’t kept white glove clean. We have a cleaning team ready to handle any concerns you might have. Just come down to the office and we will send a cleaner to your apartment.

  1. What ward am I in / when is church?

Your ward is based on which floor you live on! You can find your ward information and meeting times if you google search, “BYUI Wards and Stakes”.

  1. When are office hours?

Office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm! Come say hi so we can get to know you!
